The importance of St. Catherine is based primarily on her unique painting decoration. It is clear from the contents of the Romanesque paintings that the dynastic motifs concerning the mythical origin of the Přemyslid family and the celebration of the predecessor of Přemyslovce Konrád I or his son Litold Znojemský by the Czech prince are included in the extensive religious themes.
